Process information and data on NCEA assessment reliability (including Standard Error of Measurement SEM, and reliability scores)

Martine Udahemuka made this Official Information request to New Zealand Qualifications Authority

This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Martine Udahemuka to read a recent response and update the status.

From: Martine Udahemuka

Dear New Zealand Qualifications Authority,

Please can you send me details of how you go about measuring the reliability of NCEA assessments, both internal and external.

In your response please include at least 5 years worth of data on reliability and SEM (Standard Error Measurements), and the details of the person or organisation who calculates these. I do not not need the data for all standards, merely to understand what is collected and when. Please prioritise data on standards that qualify for Literacy and numeracy credits at level 1 (and fall within English and Maths).

Yours faithfully,

Briar Lipson
