john luke made this Official Information request to Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand
Currently waiting for a response from Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand, they must respond promptly and normally no later than (details and exceptions).
From: john luke
Dear Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand,
I noted, 20251024JLuke CAC DT recruitment.pdf
"Thank you for your request sent on 06 December 2025 requesting the information as follow." Firstly, I would like to point out that the date of my request has been recorded incorrectly. It was submitted on 6 October, not 6 December.
Secondly, I would like to request an update on your progress. In your previous response, you stated that “no shortlisting process or interviewing has commenced for either panel.” As a month has now passed, could you please provide an update?
Thirdly, "The Council received 32 applications for the DT." Thirdly, you noted that “the Council received 32 applications for the DT.” Could you please clarify how many vacancies are available on the DT for this round and what specific roles these vacancies relate to (e.g., professional, lay, chair, or deputy chair)? Additionally, within the 32 applications received, could you specify how many applicants applied for each of these roles?
Yours faithfully,
john luke
