Dear Porirua City Council,

I would like to inquire whether Yan Zhang, a candidate for the Onepoto
Ward, has at any point indicated any affiliation with a foreign political
party. Specifically, I have come across media reports identifying her as a
member of the China Zhi Gong Party.

Could you please advise whether your policies and procedures require
candidates to declare any affiliations with foreign political parties? Is
so I would like to request to view such policy.
