Digital currency engagement

The Deposit Takers Act will protect deposits through the Depositor
Compensation Scheme, and increase the stability of our financial system.

Complaints about banks, insurers, and NBDTs 
If you have a complaint, please deal directly with your bank or insurer in

The RBNZ is both a prudential supervisor and a supervisor pursuant to the
Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism (‘AML/CFT’)
Act 2009. Currently, on-site inspections are only conducted by our AML/CFT
Supervision team to monitor levels of compliance by reporting entities. 
At this stage, we propose to respond to your request in relation to
AML/CFT on-site inspections only.
