Dear Reserve Bank of New Zealand,

Treasury have confirmed that Adrian Orr's behaviour was a concern; please
provide any transcripts of these meeting/s, any follow up emails, any
contact with the Minister of Finance's Office relating to this meeting/s.

Please provide the resignation letter provided by Mr Orr to the Minister
of Finance.

Please provide any emails or corresspondence internally (including the
Board) with staff following his resignation.

Please provide document relating to when plans were put in place to
replace Mr Orr with an acting Governor and all documents relating to this
- including with Treasury, and the Minister of Finance's Office.

[1]RBNZ responds to Chief Ombudsman decision - Reserve Bank of New Zealand
- Te Pūtea Matua

 

The RBNZ has issued this press release and an accompanying summary
timeline following the Office of the Ombudsman’s investigation of, and
final decision on, our approach to OIA requests regarding the former
Governor’s departure.

 

We confirm that the matters raised in your OIA request of 24 July were
considered as part of the RBNZ’s 11 June public response. With the
publication of this morning’s press release, we believe that we have now
responded to your request in full.
