Could you please give me the following information:
For each of the last three years how much money has Kiwirail spent on hire cars?
For each of the last three years how much money has Kiwirail spent on taxis and similar transport services such as Uber.

This is a simple on to answer as all that information is reported on publicly as part of KiwiRail's responses to the Transport and Infrastructure Committee, and is published on the Parliament website.

The spend on Taxis/Rental Cars/Uber is found between pages 65 and 67 as that section also covers off spend on flights, and other related expenditure.
Also, the section on our vehicle pool on page 33 might be of interest.
