To be clear, I request data for these Acts from the date of royal assent to the date of repeal for each Act.

Police have transferred your request in two parts to Ministry of Justice, and to Wanganui District Council, as the information to which your request relates is not held by Police, but is held by these agencies.
In these circumstances, we are required by section 14 of the OIA to transfer your request.

To Ministry of Justice:

The Ministry of Justice (the Ministry) acknowledges receipt of the below
request under the Official Information Act 1982, transferred from New
Zealand Police:

 

o The number of charges, prosecutions and convictions under the
Prohibition of Gang Insignia in Government Premises Act 2013. To be
clear, I request data for these Acts from the date of royal assent to
the date of repeal for each Act.

 

This has been forwarded onto the relevant business unit to respond to. 

 

The Ministry may publish the response to your request on our website, you
can expect that if your OIA is to be published that this will take place
at least 10 working days after it has been sent you. Your name and any
other personal information will be withheld under Section 9(2)(a) (protect
the privacy of natural persons). 

 

You can expect a response by 12/08/2025.
