Dear New Zealand Transport Agency,

 

Under the Official Information Act 1982 I request the following
information regarding the recent and ongoing infrastructure works at the
Frankton roundabout in Queenstown:

        1.      Traffic Impact Assessment and Modelling

All documents reports or assessments that modelled or evaluated whether
the works would meaningfully alleviate traffic congestion at the Frankton
roundabout or surrounding arterial routes Any data projections or
assumptions used in those models

        2.      Internal Discussion and Risk Assessment

Internal emails memos meeting minutes or other correspondence raising
concerns about whether the planned works would be sufficient or effective
in addressing congestion Any documentation or communications where the
question was explicitly asked either internally or externally about
whether the project would deliver measurable congestion relief and what
the response or rationale was

        3.      Input or Objections from NZTA or QLDC Staff or Consultants

Records of any dissenting views alternate proposals or flagged risks
regarding the project’s potential inefficacy or unintended consequences
Any discussion of alternative solutions considered and why they were not
pursued

 

If any of the information is held in draft form or across multiple formats
including email meeting notes or internal reports I request access to
those as well. If portions of this request require more time I am happy to
receive the information in stages
