        University of Auckland

    Dear Jonty,

I refer to your request of 21 June 2025.  We apologise for the delay in
providing a response.  The University’s response follows:

- The names of clubs who have been granted funds greater than the maximum
as outlined in the student handbook for the years of 2022, 2023 and 2024.
- The total amount of funding awarded to these clubs for the years 2022,
 2023 and 2024.
- The maximum funding amounts for these clubs for the years 2022, 2023 and
 2024.
- The reason that these maximums were exceeded for these clubs for the
 years 2022, 2023 and 2024.

The University does not award funding to clubs in excess of their
prescribed maximum funding allocation outlined in the Clubs Handbook. Note
that there are two clubs which are not subject to the maximum funding
allocations outlined in the Clubs Handbook and instead are funded based on
the specific terms agreed under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

Yours sincerely,
Farleigh Quinlivan
