Terminated staff due to vaccination status at MSD in 2022
Erika Whittome made this Official Information request to Ministry of Social Development
The request was successful.
      From: Erika Whittome

    Dear Ministry of Social Development,
Would you please provide information on the total number of staff terminated at MSD due to your covid-19 vaccination policy and for not complying with it?
I know of two other OIAs:
One OIA dated 4 Feb 2025 said that none were terminated, an OIA by Aly Cook
Another I did said none were terminated up until Jan 2022 https://fyi.org.nz/request/23707/respons...
It has come to my attention that a worker in the Northland Region MSD was terminated on 9 March 2022 with a "Covid-19 Vaccination Policy - Final Decision" letter for not being vaccinated.
Would you please share the total number of staff who were terminated at MSD in 2022 due to not being vaccinated for covid-19?
Yours faithfully,
Erika Whittome
