Thank you for your Official Information Act 1982 (OIA) request below received on 19 May 2025, seeking the total number of full time equivalent (FTE) staff designated to OIA requests and/or ministerial advisors currently working for the Ministry of Regulation (the Ministry).

The Ministry’s ministerial team is responsible for managing OIA requests received by the Ministry as this falls under the ministerial services portfolio, along with drafting responses for written parliamentary questions, information requests, ministerial correspondence, meeting briefs, and more.

The Ministry currently employs two permanent staff and two fixed term or seconded staff whose primary role is to support ministerial servicing.

The Ministry’s ministerial services team is currently operating with no open vacancies.
