Basis for disregarding most submissions on the 'Regulatory Standards Bill'
Mohammed Khan made this Official Information request to Ministry for Regulation
Response to this request is delayed. By law, Ministry for Regulation should normally have responded promptly and by (details and exceptions)
From: Mohammed Khan
Dear Ministry for Regulation,
According to the document:
https://www.regulation.govt.nz/assets/Pu...
the Ministry under friend of Timothy Jago David Seymour chose to disregard any submission under 10,000 characters or not made on behalf of an organisation, iwi or hapū.
Please provide communications/documentation regarding how this criteria was arrived at (for example, discussions on how organizations were less opposed to the bill than individuals as determined by the LLM results, causing their inclusion, or the emails where it was noted it would be politically inconvenient to ignore Maori groups).
This should not be provided as a summary.
Yours faithfully,
Mohammed Khan

This is not responsive to my request.
I didn't ask about the 'how' of the method by which you disregarded the vast majority of submissions, just running them through AI and not even reading them. Obviously, this is already documented, in the document I linked to in my
I asked 'how' you ARRIVED AT THIS METHOD. How did you arrive at the method by which you didn't even read and review most submissions?
Yours sincerely,
Mohammed Khan
