Re: Aerial Drone Footage
Thank you for your request for information regarding drone footage of the Te Henga Aerial
drone spraying. The specific details of your request and our response are below.
I would like to request the drone footage of the Te Henga Ariel drone spraying 2025 by
Phylogeny Ltd David Hall for Matuku link trust - 111 Bethells Road, Te Henga.
Is there a recording of the footage taken by the drone while spraying over the wetlands?
Please provide GPS coordinates of the exact areas that were sprayed in the wetland.
The flight path of the drone and when it was actively spraying. How many litres of the
product was used?
You have made several requests with Auckland Council for the drone footage. We wil be
responding to these requests under this LGOIMA.
We have liaised with several departments across Council regarding your request for footage.
Our Environmental Services department have confirmed that while we aware of this work, this
was conducted by phylogeny Ltd David Hall on behalf of Matuku Trust Reserve on private
land. We do not have nor hold any data in relation to aerial footage and are unable to provide
you with he information requested under Section 17(g) of the Local Government Of icial
Information and Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA), as Auckland Council does
not hold any of the information you have requested and is not aware of any other agency
subject to the LGOIMA/OIA that may hold it.
If you have concerns we suggest you approach Phylogeny Ltd/Matuku Trust directly or raise
the matter with t
he CAA, who may help in the release of the data.
