Respiratory Patients During 1 May 2025 ASMS Strike

Dear Health New Zealand,

Please provide:

Total number of inpatients under the respiratory team (General Medicine) at Auckland City Hospital on 1 May 2025.

Number of those patients reviewed by an SMO by 5pm.

For patients not reviewed by an SMO, the level of doctor who reviewed them.

Number of MET calls or ICU transfers involving respiratory patients on that day.

Copies of any incident reports filed involving respiratory patients between 30 April and 2 May.

Any records (emails, rosters, meeting notes) indicating staff were pressured or directed to work on 1 May despite ASMS strike action.
