From: Gary Whitehead

Dear LGOIMA Requests,

Hi, I'm not requesting information on any specific property or categorisation status and my request is more research on how the different Councils approached categorisation.

I understand some Councils categorised some properties that only suffered relatively minor damage from the NIWEs but were assessed as an intolerable risk to life and falling in the 2A 2A and 3 categories due to flood modeling/mapping. It is these properties that I have interest in.

I hope that clarifies my request.

Yours sincerely,

Gary Whitehead

Kia ora Gary,

Our properties were categorised following the same categorisation Hastings Council used in the below link.
https://www.hastingsdc.govt.nz/land-cate...

The data we can look to provide is the number of properties categorised under each. Please clarify that this is the information you are seeking.
