Housing-related support (emergency, transitional, tenancy-related)
Food security (foodbanks, community food delivery or meal programmes)
Cost-of-living or poverty alleviation initiatives
Wraparound community services meeting essential needs
Please include:
Organisation name
Amount of funding
Type of funding (grant, contract, operational funding, etc.)
A short description of the funded service or programme
2. Forecasted or budgeted funding for the 2024/2025 financial year
If available, please also include:
Any budgeted or planned funding for the Canterbury region related to the above categories
Priority areas or themes
Any confirmed or indicative recipient organisations
Spreadsheet format is preferred if available.

This letter is to advise you that the Ministry of Social Development has
received your request, however requires more time to respond to this
request. In accordance with section 15(1) and 15A of the Official
Information Act 1982, the Ministry’s decision will be with you no later
than 12 June 2025.
The reason for the extension is that consultations necessary to make a
decision on the request are such that a proper response to the request
cannot reasonably be made within the original time limit.
