Dear Ruapehu District Council,

1./ Please provide any and all correspondence from the last 12 months related to the recent public statement "Council regularly receives questions on how regulations and rates are applied to holiday homes rented on a short-term basis", we understand that information will need to be redacted to protect the privacy of such queries.

2./ Please provide any collateral that has led to the meting being held 20th March to discuss regulations and rates.

3./ Please provide copies (past 12 months) of councillor, CEO, mayor or RDC staff, discussions, memos, emails or documentation that relate to the "rating and compliance" for holiday home owners, i.e. for the avoidance of doubt; this relates to the targeted rate that holiday home owners pay each year, particularly whether any increases have been discussed, documented, or drafted.

4./ Please provide evidence of the revenue earned from the targeted rate, vs what it has been spent on; i.e. so holiday home owners can be assured that the targeted tax is going directly to tourism spend etc.
