Declared Conflict of Interests amongst recent recruits
Caleb Carter made this Official Information request to Kāinga Ora–Homes and Communities
Currently waiting for a response from Kāinga Ora–Homes and Communities, they must respond promptly and normally no later than (details and exceptions).
From: Caleb Carter
Dear Kāinga Ora–Homes and Communities,
The recent appointment of Simon Mouter as Chair of the Kainga Ora Board was followed with an appointment of Matt Crockett as the CEO.
It appears that Matt has worked under Simon at a number of companies prior to him being appointed at Kainga Ora.
It seems obvious that the two have worked together and I am keen to know if Either Matt or Simon declared this as a conflict of interest and How did Kainga Ora respond to the request.
Secondly, the appointment of Tracey Taylor is also suspicious given that she herself announced that Matt Crockett is a common friend and she was offered the role in a casual meeting with Crockett.
What is Kainga Ora conflict of interest process?
Have the recent appointments followed the correct recruitment processes?
Yours faithfully,
Caleb
