From: Adam Irish
Dear Land Information New Zealand,
I am writing to inquire about the renaming of the continent Zealandia to Te Riu-a-Māui. Specifically, I would like to know:
When did the name change from Zealandia to Te Riu-a-Māui occur? Who actually came up with this revisionist name?
Were New Caledonia and Norfolk Island consulted on this change, or was the decision made unilaterally by New Zealand authorties.
Thank you for your assistance.
Yours faithfully,
Adam Irish
