Dear Alice,

I refer to your request of 15 January 2025. As consultations necessary to make a decision on the request are such that a response to the request cannot reasonably be given within the original time limit, the time limit for the University’s response has been extended to 13 March 2025 under section 15A(1)(b) of the Official Information Act 1982. We will respond as soon as reasonably practicable within that time limit. You have the right to make a complaint to an Ombudsman if you are dissatisfied with this extension.

response. The University’s response follows:

 

“Global Studies has always had a rank score of 210. What is the reason for
it to have changed from 210 to 180?”

 

I have been advised that this was changed to align with current academic
preparedness of applicants for the programme.
