matter.

3) All external advice received in relation to the sale.

4) All advice from other departments in relation to the sale.

5) All MBIE discussion in relation to the sale.
 
Please note that the days from 25 December 2024 to 15 January 2025
(inclusive) are defined as non-working days in the Act and are not counted
in the calculation for the response due date. This will affect the time
period for responding to your request.
 
We will endeavour to respond to your request as soon as possible, and no
later than 5/02/2025, being 20 working days after the day your request was
received. If we are unable to respond to your request by then, we will
notify you of an extension of that timeframe. If you have any enquiries

Thank you for your email of 8 January 2025 to the Ministry of Business,
Innovation and Employment (MBIE) requesting, under the Official
Information Act 1982 (the Act), the following information:

For point five of your request, MBIE conducted an information and data
search, to identify the number of correspondences outlined in your
request. The search identified 3,581 emails in scope of your request. MBIE
calculates that it takes five minutes to process each email, therefore
this would calculate to 299 hours. This does not factor in any texts,
memos, and reports, and any consultations we may be required to complete.

 

MBIE therefore invites you to narrow or clarify your request. Please let
us know before 30 January 2025 whether you are prepared to amend or
clarify your request and, if so, how. Please note, any clarification or
amendment of a request is considered to be a new request for the purpose
of calculating the maximum statutory timeframe for response as per section
15(1AA) of the OIA.
