Dear Health New Zealand,
A post on X (Twitter) shows a card from Kymbillie Green, Equity Office, Waikato Hospital, regarding parking and petrol vouchers available to Maori and Pasifika patients. The card asks the patient to be discrete, since other patients do not have access to the scheme.

I would like to know:
1. Is this assistance available to any person who identifies as Maori or Pasifika?
2. How long has this scheme been in operation?
3. What is the cost of the programme to date?
4. Is similar assistance available to other ethnic groups, for example Community Service Card holders or Gold Card holders?
