Dear Ministry of Justice,
Under the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA), I am requesting information related to the administrative operations, resource management, performance metrics, and legal aid administration at the North Shore Family Court from January 2020 to December 2024.

Firstly, the Ministry would like to advise you that LGOIMA does not apply
to this request. Please note, the OIA applies to information requests made
to Ministers and central government agencies and LGOIMA applies to
information requests made to local government. As in this case, you have
made the request to the Ministry, therefore the OIA applies. It is also
important to note that the OIA permits refusal under section 18(f) for
substantial collation or research.
Please note, section 12(2) of the OIA requires requests to be made with
due particularity. This means that the agency must be reasonably able to
identify what information is being requested. As your request is currently
worded, the following parts have not been specified with due particularity

the average time in days taken for documents to be processed after
filed. If so, please note this part of your request will be refused
under 18(g) of the OIA as this information is not held by the
Ministry.
o Error rates and types, correction timeframes, resolution metrics
Please clarify what is meant by these terms and what specific
information you are seeking.

legal aid lawyers. If so, please note this part of your request will
be refused under 18(g) of the OIA as this information is not held by
the Ministry.
