Thank you for a list of building consent numbers and properties that they
relate to within the last five years that have had building consents
re-issued with changes made for the same building work.

 

We have attached an information sheet on our processes and requirements
under the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987.

 

LGOIMA requires us to provide you with information no later than 20
working days after receiving your request. Your request will take longer
than usual. This is because the days commencing 20 December and ending 10
January are not counted as working days. This is explained in section 2(1)
of LGOIMA and at the Ombudsman's website

We will respond to your request as soon as possible and in any event no
later than 20 working days after the day your request was received. This
will be by 27 January 2025.

Dear Auckland Council,

A determination was recently released by MBIE titled “2024/065: The
authority’s decision to make changes to a building consent after the
building consent had been issued.”

I am requesting a list of building consent numbers and properties that
they relate to within the last five years that have had building consents
re-issued with changes made for the same building work. This excludes
amendments to building consents or minor variations.

Please submit;

A. A list of the building consent numbers that have been re-issued with
changes made in the last five years (five complete years or the five years
to date.)

B. A property identifier, a DP and lot number, or identifier, or street
address)

C. A short description of the reason for the re-issuing of the building
consent.
