Dear Invercargill City Council,
Under the official information act 1982 and the LGOIMA 1987 I am requesting all communication that includes reports, letters, notes, internal and external emails between the Mayor of Invercargill Nobby Clark and other councillors and the CE relating to
Local Water done well, Bluff Waste water consent, local government water services, Wastewater, Maori, Ngai Tahu within the last year ie the 2024 calendar year.
I request to receive this information in an electronic format no later than 20 working days after you have received my request.

Your request has been assigned to our Manager Governance and Legal. If
any clarification or a request for an extension is required due to the
scope of your request is required we will get in touch with you as soon as
is practicable.
Otherwise we will respond to your request with 20 working days which would
be 23 January 2025, this later date is due to the statutory public
holidays over Christmas and New Year, in effect the clock stops. Please
see blow form the Ombudsman’s Website.

Tçnâ koe Leon,
I am writing in reference to your request for information in accordance
with the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987.
It has become clear, now, that we will not meet the ordinal 20 working day
timeframe due to the volume of items we have located that need to be
checked for relevance or any reasons that might require a redaction and
given the time of the year and staff leave it will not be possible to have
this ready by 23 January 2025.
I apologise for this unavoidable delay and have alerted you as soon as I
became aware we were not going to make the LGOMIA timeframe.
This extension is in accordance with Section 14 of the LGOMIA.
In accordance with that section- the period of the extension is one week
from the due date of the request- being to 30 Janaury2025. The reasons for
the extension is the quantity of the information and the nature of the
information requested mean only a few staff are able to review the
document and this will interfere with the operations of the Council at
this time of year as well as allowing for staff leave during this time
period.
You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of
this decision for the time extension. Information about how to make a
