Business case and evidence for register to track company ownership benefits

Miss W. Forest made this Official Information request to New Zealand Police

Currently waiting for a response from New Zealand Police, they must respond promptly and normally no later than (details and exceptions).

From: Miss W. Forest

Dear New Zealand Police,

You've released to business desk about how it would cost 5$ per company relating establishing the ownership register and there would be benefits of this said register relating to policing.

Please share the business case, proposal and and the associated evidence of that this solution would do to the identified problem.

Also please share the evaluation papers how it stacks against other solutions when these were considered and why the business case is the preferred one over others that was proposed to the government.

Yours faithfully,

Miss W. Forest
