Thank you for your Official Information Act 1982 request (the Act) to
NZTE, received 18 October 2024 requesting:

 

Please provide the process through which external roles taken by lead team
members (for example, directorships) are approved.

 

Please provide any information on the approval of Dylan Lawrence to the
board of Ngati Raukawa ki te Tonga AHC Limited.

 

Please provide any internal papers outlining the approval processes of the
approximately $90,000 of prefeasibility funding overseen by Dylan Lawrence
that was spent on feasibility of waste wood treatment in the Timaru area
(similar to the business model of Ngati Raukawa's investee company, Waste
Transformation Limited).

 

Please provide any internal papers informing either the CEO or the Board
of this potential conflict.

 

In accordance with the Act, NZTE will make a decision on your request as
soon as reasonably practicable and within 20 working days of 18 October
2024. The latest date for a decision on your request is 18 November 2024.

Dear J Floyd,

I am writing to update you on your OIA request. We are currently working through your request and consultation is required. We are therefore extending the time to make a decision on your request by five weeks to 23 December 2024.

We will endeavour to respond to you sooner, with 23 December 2024 being the latest date for a decision.
