Golfing during work paid travel

J Floyd made this Official Information request to New Zealand Trade and Enterprise

New Zealand Trade and Enterprise did not have the information requested.

From: J Floyd

Dear New Zealand Trade and Enterprise,

Since 1 January 2021, how many rounds of golf, counting 9 hole rounds as one round, has Dylan Lawrence played while on work funded travel? Please include both scored rounds and those where other formats were used (e.g. ambrose, teams, rounds played but score not kept). This would include rounds at events such as at NZPCA conferences and hosting delegations.

Please provide this information by year and by location.

What is NZTE's policy for golfing during work time or during funded travel?

Yours faithfully,

J Floyd

Dear Lauren,

Is Dylan Lawrence's diary kept? If so, you will easily be able to look at his travel dates, and see whether he had a round of golf booked. While this may not be 100% accurate, it will provide a good indication.

As there are only a handful of travel dates, this shouldn't be an onerous task.

Yours sincerely,

J Floyd
