MFAT statement falsely implying human responsibility for the zionist attack on the Syrian town of Majdal Shams

Andrew Li made this Official Information request to Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade

Currently waiting for a response from Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, they must respond promptly and normally no later than (details and exceptions).

From: Andrew Li

Dear Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade,

The statement:
"We condemn the attack on Majdal Shams, and the deaths of children. Hezbollah must stop its attacks on Israel.

We also mourn the deaths of civilians, including children, following strikes on a school in Deir al-Balah in Gaza.

This escalation in hostilities only makes a ceasefire in Gaza more urgent. We urge all involved to exercise restraint and de-escalate.

A wider scale war would have disastrous consequences for Israel and Lebanon - and for civilians across the region.

- WP"
https://x.com/NewZealandMFA/status/18174...
was issued on X/Twitter under the NewZealandMFA account falsely implying that the human resistance group, Hezbollah, was responsible for the zionist terrorist attack on the Syrian town of Majdal Shams that slaughtered 12 Syrian children and injured more than 40 more. The soldiers of the resistance, the Syrian government, the Syrian residents of Majdal Shams, 'israeli' paramedics and journalists, and even prior British ambassadors to Syria have all confirmed that humans from Syria or Lebanon were not involved in any way in causing the slaughter of the children, but that the deaths were instead solely the result of a zionist missile striking the soccer field, either through incompetence or their deliberate targeting of Syrian children.

I am requesting:
1) All internal notes and communications internally within MFAT and with Peters which related to the production of this disgusting message.
2) All internal notes and communications internally within MFAT and with Peters which relate to the attack on Majdal Shams.

Yours faithfully,
Andrew Li
