Dear Gisborne District Council,
On 01/08/2024 Chief Executive, Nedine Thatcher Swann made a public post on the GDC Facebook page claiming that a GDC vehicle was stopped, abused and had signs banged against it while driving past the Grey Street, Streets for People protest on 31/07/2024.
Can the Gisborne District Council please provide a copy of the incident report and all information relevant to this incident including the time/date, location, any evidence of abuse/damage to the vehicle and if this incident was reported to Police.
