Money to Ukraine
Chris McCashin made this Official Information request to Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet
Response to this request is long overdue. By law Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet should have responded by now (details and exceptions). The requester can complain to the Ombudsman.
From: Chris McCashin
Dear Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet,
NZ just announced another $16m of money that is being sent to Ukraine.
It puts New Zealand's total contribution to Ukraine at more than $130m
Are you able to provide an accounting of the total funds gone to Ukraine
I am specifically wanting to know who this money is paid to
Volodymyr "10%" Zelensky?
Ukraine Oligarchs
United Nations cutouts?
Nato / US which in turn is laundered back to their arms companies
NGO's?
Ultimately I would like to see a paper trail as to who and where the money went to
For example who is this latest cheque of $16m being written out to and who have all the other cheques been written out to?
Can you also provide any formal / informal memos, drafts, notes relating to increasing New Zealand's military personnel including compulsory draft, national service etc etc any and all initiatives that might have been discussed by the previous administration or the current administration.
Personally I am not keen to send New Zealand's troops to assist the USA fight a proxy war with Russia to the last Ukrainian why they launder money back to themselves to "protect democracy" whilst they themselves have an open border allowing an invasion all the while their CIA operates without oversight responsible for undermining democracies in countries that don't tow the American empire / party line.
When our foreign minister mentions the war is illegal and unprovoked does he not realize USA have been expanding NATO and invading countries under false pretenses since at least the 60's?!
Does nobody ask these questions?
Yours faithfully,
Chris
