From: Annabelle
Dear Southland District Council,
Can you please provide evidence and outcomes of all community engagement on the Wyndham-Edendale cycle track which has led to the Waihopai Toetoe Community board deciding to move ahead with this project.
For each engagement please include the date and location, how public opinion was gathered and who gathered it, the number of people that engaged, and the number of people that support the construction of the track. Also if available, how many are children from the local schools.
Did community engagement include informing those who submitted feedback of the cost of the track?
Has contact been made with all rate payers in the ward to ask if they want this track constructed?
Have all rate payers been informed of the cost of this track?
Have all rate payers been informed of how this track will be paid for including what new loans will be acquired and what level of reserves will be used along with costs of maintenance?
Please also provide details of all consultation reports completed on the proposed track including cost estimates and an itemised account of the money spent on this project to date.
Yours faithfully,
Annabelle Stanley.
