Dear Southland District Council,

Can you please supply me with copies of the following:

1. All letters, emails, and reports on water quality from your Australian testing lab referred to the the Southland Times on October 2 2018. Please include a copy of your original request to the lab and the total cost of this testing.
2. All correspondence (electronic or hard copy, including texts) between Councillors and staff relating to Riverton water quality from January 1 2018 onwards.
3. All reports, memos, emails, letters and other communication to or from Environment Southland relating to Riverton water quality from January 1 2018 onwards.

Hi Paddy

 

As per your Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act
request, please find attached the water test results and correspondence on
these.

 

There have been no formal reports to Council or to the Riverton Aparima
Community Board. Staff have given verbal updates at the community board
meetings. Councillors attend the community board meetings as well.

 

I am still working on getting the cost of the water testing and will send
that through as soon as possible.

If you have any concerns in relation to this response then you are able to
raise these with the Ombudsman in accordance with Section 27 (3) of the
Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act.
