Organisational Chart
Tobias Tohill made this Official Information request to Ministry of Social Development
This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Tobias Tohill to read recent responses and update the status.
From: Tobias Tohill
Dear Ministry of Social Development,
Please provide an organisational chart for Work and Income staff including names, position titles, contact email addresses and offices/branches which staff work in.
This request is made in order to facilitate the contacting of MSD staff / officials in local branches.
We have reports that staff in local MSD offices are not always willing to provide their names to job seekers / employers who meet with them.
As notes from these in-person meetings are also not being entered into the digital records for those job seeks / employers, it is necessary to be able to email officers in local branches directly in order to enter a summary of the meeting as an auditable trail.
Yours faithfully,
Tobias Tohill

We refer to your email dated 18 July 2024 to the Ministry of Social
Development (the Ministry).
In your email you have requested details of staff in the Nelson branch.
Please note, as you have refined your original request, under section
15(1AA) of the Official Information Act, the Ministry will treat your
refined request as a new request that replaces the original request. This
restarts the 20-working day response period. This is required to ensure
that the Ministry has enough time to process your request.
As per our previous email, please contact the Ministry and we can discuss
your request for Ministry staff details accordingly.

We refer to your below request made to the Ministry of Social Development
(the Ministry) under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act).
Furthermore, can you please provide the staff details for the Nelson
Branch of MSD.
This letter is to advise you that the Ministry requires more time to
respond to this request. In accordance with section 15(1) and 15A of the
Act, the Ministry’s decision will be with you no later than 29 August
