This letter is the board's response to your OIA request dated 23 June
2024.
The board has received four complaints in the last 30 months.
The board is careful to ensure that our school's complaints
policy/procedure is diligently followed whenever we receive a complaint.
Please note that under the Official Information Act you can request
information from the school however the OIA cannot be used to ask the
school to create a document or to start an investigation.
Your OIA requests suggest that you consider there are issues that the
Board is not addressing. We invite you to come in and meet with members of
the board to discuss the concerns you have.
Kind regards,
Simon Pearce
Plimmerton School Board of Trustees.

Dear Whaea Kat,
Sorry for taking so long to get back to you.
The board only collects information about complaints that follow the
formal complaints process. The board receives correspondence for a variety
of matters.
As per my previous email, as per section 18e of the OIA, you can request
information from the school however the OIA cannot be used to ask the
school to create a document or to start an investigation
The offer to meet and discuss your concern still stands. Alternatively, we
have a complaints procedure that can be found on the school
