Under section 15(1) of the Act, we are required to make and inform you of our decision on your request as soon as reasonably practicable and in any case not later than 20 working days after the day on which your request is received. You can therefore expect to receive our decision on your request on or before the 10 of February 2023. If more than 20 working days are needed due to the potential workload and/or consultations involved in answering your request, we will notify you accordingly.

Thank you for your emails of 9 December and 22 December requesting
information under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act).  

 

On 9 December you requested the following:

 

I request a copy of the scoping report and outcomes report prepared by the
Limited Statutory Manager that is in place at Mercury Bay Area School in
2022.

 

On 22 December you also requested:

 

Please provide all documentation and correspondence related the
appointment of the Finance Adviser and subsequently Limited Statutory
Manager, Val Wenham, to Mercury Bay Area School in 2022 (some of this
documentation may be from 2021 prior to the appointment - please provide
this as well) that is held by the Ministry of Education. Please ensure all
scoping reports, outcome reports, scoping plan's and all funding
agreements (provisional or otherwise) are provided.

 

We are writing to you as your request dated 22 December appears to be an
expansion of the scope of the your previous request dated 9 December, and
should therefore be merged into one request.

 

If our understanding is incorrect, or you have any comments or questions,
please respond to us by close of business on Wednesday 11 January. If we
do not hear back from you, we will proceed with merging your requests.

 

Please note, any clarification or amendment of a request is considered a
new request for the purpose of calculating the maximum statutory timeframe
for response as per section 15(1AA) of the Act. As such, your request is
