On 6 May 2024, you requested the following information, under the Local
Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA):

 

Please advise the current state for the planned project "Wigram Road
Realignment".

 

Firstly, I’d like to apologise for the wait on this one. Staff have
confirmed the below:

 

The design for the Wigram Road Realignment is well underway for approval
for the development at #440. Preparation for the PDA document is also
underway; a portion of Christchurch City Council’s funding for both the
roading and water mains have been confirmed. Construction is most likely
to begin toward the end of 2025.

 

You have the right to ask the Ombudsman to investigate and review our
decision. Complaints can be sent by email to

Please note: our LGOIMA responses may be published on the Christchurch
City Council website a month after they have been responded to, with
