Camping ground licences

Dear Bay of Plenty Regional Council,

Could you kindly provide a list of all camping grounds which Council has issued a camping ground licence in the past 3 years in accordance with the Camping Ground Regulations 1985.

Please include relevant addresses for each camping ground and identify if any camping grounds are operated by Council or subject to a lease with Council.

Dear Tim

 

Bay of Plenty Regional Council does not issue camping ground licences as
this function sits with the relevant district councils within the region. 
Council will accordingly transfer your request pursuant to s12(b)(i) of
the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987.

 

However, before Council transfers your request, to ensure we are seeking
the right information for you it would be helpful if you could advise if
you are interested in a particular area so we can transfer your request to
the relevant district council.

We have not had a response to our request for clarification of your
request. 

 

As it does not hold this information, Council is required to transfer your
request to the agencies it believes does hold the information by Monday 22
April 2024.  Council believes these agencies are district councils within
the region. 

 

As your request was received through the FYI website, Council does not
hold contact details for you to pass on to these agencies and therefore is
unable to transfer your request to the appropriate agencies. 

 

The available options are:

o Contact Council to provide contact details to assist with the
transfer; or
o You may make enquiries direct to the relevant district councils in
which case we request you confirm your request is withdrawn.
