Likelihood of government reaching settlements with all willing iwi by 2017

Lisa Black made this Official Information request to Minister for Treaty of Waitangi Negotiations

The request was partially successful.

From: Lisa Black

Dear Minister for Treaty of Waitangi Negotiations,

I am seeking information on the Government's goal of reaching settlements with all willing iwi by 2017 (as per 12 September 2014 National Party press release).

I would like:

- the most recent advice you have received on this goal (for example, likelihood, risks) and, if that is not very detailed, please also provide the most detailed advice you have received on this goal;

- information held by the Office of Treaty Settlements - in addition to any of this information contained in the advice to you - which shows its most up to date assessments and alternatives with respect to this goal (for example, graphs, projections, scenarios);

I am not especially interested in information identifying individual iwi but would prefer it was not withheld if it assists in understanding the information.

Yours faithfully,

Lisa
