Thank you for your email of 9th March 2023 in which you submitted an Official Information Act request as follows:

Regarding your travel to Australia in December 2023 aboard the Defence Force 757 plane.

Could you please provide information on the number of individuals classified as "family members" who accompanied you on both the outbound and return flights separately? By "family members," I am referring to individuals such as immediate family, extended family, as well as friends and acquaintances closely associated with your family, including partners and friends of family members.

Additionally, for each family member accompanying you on each leg of the trip, could you please specify their relationship to you (e.g., daughter, son-in-law, friend of the family)?

Specifically, I would like to know:
1: The number of family members who joined you on the outbound flight to Australia, along with their respective relationships to you.
2: The number of family members who joined you on the return flight from Australia, along with their respective relationships to you.

Your request is being considered in accordance with the Act, and you can expect a response by 9th April 2024 (date determined by the OIA calculator).
