Percentage of treatment pre-authorizations requested, denied, and approved. Form ACC-32
D Lohr made this Official Information request to Accident Compensation Corporation
This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for D Lohr to read a recent response and update the status.
From: D Lohr
Dear Accident Compensation Corporation,
What percentage of pre-authorization for treatment requests were submitted, denied, or approved in the years 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013? I am assuming these requests would have been made on form ACC-32. Please add pre-authorization using any different forms, and lay-out your answer in a reasonable fashion, perhaps in columns, listing type of treatment provider, the number of requests made by that group, and a column for approved and denied.
Yours faithfully,
D Lohr

Dear Government Services,
Can you explain why the approvals are so disproportionately high for some professions (example physiotherapists) while so disproportionately low for others (example chiropractors)?
Are physiotherapists using a special sauce to achieve such high approvals, despite treating the same patients as chiropractors? Please name the sauce and where I may find some.
Yours sincerely,
D Lohr
