CliFlo does show sunshine hours but it is recorded at fewer stations
compared to rainfall or temperature. Christchurch Botanical Gardens has 2
climate stations – one manual and the other one is automated. Neither of
these stations measure sunshine.

 

There are 2 sites with sunshine data that are approx. 8 km from the
botanic gardens (listed below).

The Airport site (agent: 4843) has data going back to 1949 while the
Bromley site begins in 2019. The data can be accessed via CliFlo.
