follows:

 

“I request all information regarding any consultations that were made by
the University in the period between receiving the initial request, and
the extension correspondence on December 13 2023.”

 

The University consulted with you on 16 November 2023 by email, and you
responded the same day – the correspondence is publicly available at:

The University did not engage in other consultations in the period
specified in your request. During that period, we collated the relevant
material and identified the need to engage in consultation to make a
decision on your request, and so extended the deadline for the request
under the OIA to allow for this. I note that this consultation took the
form of seeking and obtaining legal advice, and for that reason, a further
request for that correspondence would likely be refused under the OIA to
maintain legal professional privilege.

 

This constitutes a refusal of your request under sections 18(d) and 18(g)
of the OIA. You have the right to make a complaint to an Ombudsman if you
are dissatisfied with this response.
