Richard Vance made this Official Information request to New Zealand Police
The request was successful.
From: Richard Vance
Dear New Zealand Police,
Please could you clarify what infomation should a member of the NZ Police provide when they are asked to identify them selves (when asked by a member of the public).
Do NZ Police staff carry identity cards (ID), could you please provide a sample image of this for the purposes of valadation and authentication. Can the public (including myself) take a picture record of this ID when produced?
Yours faithfully,
Richard Vance
