Dear University of Otago,
Further to a previous request I would like to update the number of adverse
reactions to all brands of statins including fatalities in the
period 2001 present date February 2015. I understand the method of
reporting adverse reactions has changed over the years and accept
the format may be different from one year to the next.
If there is breakdown of the type of adverse events that too would
be very helpful but the total number would be acceptable.

It is helpful to have the number of statin related deaths and adverse reactions and interesting to note we still have many injuries from these medications. I look forward to a time when they are banned and those who have been injured are acknowledged as victims of pharmaceutical companies and the public are given unbiased facts about cholesterol. Thanks to CARM for providing the information.
