Dear Ruapehu District Council,
As per the document shared on Kāinga Ora website https://kaingaora.govt.nz/assets/Publica... , Page 2 shows 46 residential lots, of which 44 have been advertised to the public as a 15/15/14 split between social, affordable and workers accommodation.
1./ Please advise what the remaining 2 residential lots are being used for
2./ Who will own the remaining 2 titles, or who will they be transferred to
3./ Please provide any documentation relating to the remaining 2 residential lots, such as agreements, contract for them, discussions around who will get them or who they would/could be allocated to. Dear Info,
I do not accept your response.
Firstly as evidence shows the response was received by FYI on 1st November, yet your document states 30th October. You did not acknowledge failing to meet the timeline and attempted to hide this.
Secondly, RDC and KO are joint applicants on the Resource Consent. OIA responses from both KO and RDC to date state that all decisions & designs are a jointly signed off. This was the defence used by Kainga Ora with regards to his conflict of interest; so if you truely believe that RDC is in fact not party to the consent, this opens up a can of worms with their statements.
Both Kainga Ora and RDC were asked these same questions, and both RDC & KO have avoided answering the question. You refer to documents on KO website and say "All of the questions have been answered by Kainga Ora", this is clearly untrue as the questions I have posed have not been answered ivy Kainga Ora or the documents on their website.
I do not accept this OIA to be responded to and my questions remain unanswered and have lodged a complaint with the ombudsman
Yours sincerely,
Barry Murphy

Dear Info,
I remind you that this question is still unanswered and was due by 30 October.
I remind you of the questions that RDC is a joint applicant for the consent on:
These two questions require immediate response and are overdue:
1./ Please advise what the remaining 2 residential lots are being used for
2./ Who will own the remaining 2 titles, or who will they be transferred to
The following question I understand may need further time extension of 20 days to put together (from the 30th October)
3./ Please provide any documentation relating to the remaining 2 residential lots, such as agreements, contract for them, discussions around who will get them or who they would/could be allocated to. For the avoidance of doubt, this is any emails, txts, discussions, social media messages, phone calls, etc.
Yours sincerely,
Barry Murphy
From: Barry Murphy
Dear Info,
Unfortunately I have not had a satisfactory answer to this question which was redirected to the "consenting party" which I indicated RDC is a partner in the joint resource consent. I followed up and have had no responses from you so I am sending this to the Ombudsman for resolution.
Yours sincerely,
Barry Murphy

Dear Info,
This request is long past due
Yours sincerely,
Barry Murphy
From: Barry Murphy
Dear Info,
This is a reminder that this OIA is overdue, that RDC was a partner and party to the submission of the resource consent so should be able to answer the question as to what would happen to the additional 2 lots that were unaccounted for above the 44 that were funded by CIP.
I still await the answer to this question and it remains on the Ombudsman's list to investigate.
RDC initially responded and said the question should have been transferred to KO who were the consenting party, however as I pointed out, RDC & KO were joint applicants, and partners on this project.
I expect an answer from RDC on this question.
Yours sincerely,
Barry Murphy
