under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act):

 

I would like to ask under the Official Information Act how many tenancies
have been ended due to overcrowding for the last 5 financial years, not
including the current one.

I would also like to ask how many tenancies have been transferred for the
same period.

Finally, I would like to ask whether Kainga Ora has any policies relating
to single tenant tenancies (or single parent tenancies) when a new
relationship is made, irrespective of if the tenant or partner is
forthcoming with that information.

 

You can expect to be notified of the decision on your request by 25
September 2023, being 20 working days after the day on which the request
was received in accordance with section 15(1) of the Act. If an extension
of time is required to make a decision you will be notified prior to this
date in accordance with section 15A of the Act.

 

We may also contact you if further clarification or refinement of your
request is required to enable a decision to be made.
