Number of consultants and cost of it in Te Whatu Ora CE Office

Sam Malik made this Official Information request to Ayesha Verrall

The request was partially successful.

From: Sam Malik

Dear Ayesha Verrall,

Can I please ask, under OIA, total number of permanent employees and total number of contractors currently working for the Office of the CE of Te Whatu Ora and in what sub groups. Please give a table with role levels i.e. how many Admin/coordinators, Advisors, Sr. Advisors, Principles/chief, managers/leads etc and whether they are permanent or temps.

I am also requesting the total cost spent on contractors in the same directorate/group between 1 Jan 2023 and 31 July 2023.

Are you aware of what development is available to the permanent staff members to get higher roles instead of getting new temp people in. Did you get any briefing on that by Te Whatu Ora CE?

Yours faithfully,

Sam

Tēnā koe Sam

Thank you for your email of 8 August 2023, that was transferred to Te
Whatu Ora on 10 August 2023, asking for the following information under
the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act):

"Can I please ask, under OIA, the total number of permanent employees and
the total number of contractors currently working for the Office of the CE
of Te Whatu Ora and in what sub groups.  Please give a table with role
levels i.e. how many Admin/coordinators, Advisors, Sr. Advisors,
Principles/chief, managers/leads etc and whether they are permanent or
temps.

I am also requesting the total cost spent on contractors in the same
directorate/group between 1 Jan 2023 and 31 July 2023."

This email is to let you know that Te Whatu Ora needs more time to make a
decision on your request.

The Act requires that we advise you of our decision on your request no
later than 20 working days after the day we received your request.
Unfortunately, it will not be possible to meet that time limit and we are
therefore writing to notify you of an extension of the time to make our
decision, to 6 October 2023.

This extension is required because the collation of information and
consultations necessary to make a decision on your request are such that a
proper response cannot
reasonably be made within the original time limit.

If you have any questions, please contact us at [1][email address]

If you are not happy with this extension, you have the right to make a
complaint to the Ombudsman. Information about how to do this is available
at www.ombudsman.parliament.nz or by phoning 0800 802 602.
