Just to correct my previous annotation, in May 2022 NZ Police told me that there is a chapter of the Police Manual called "Investigative interviewing - Specialist child witness interview guidelines". As far as I'm aware, this document has not been proactively released. However, it's possible that it has become obsolete since NZ Police told me it exists.
