Question about Parent visa

Hon. Michael Wood,
My OIA is regarding parent residence category.
Thanks for opening this visa category in 2022. Many people had been waiting for it to reopen since 2016. Thanks for fulfilling the promise in Labour’s 2020 manifesto.
Although the category was reopened in 2022 , the backlog of the EOIs submitted before 2022 will be cleared till 2025 which is a long wait for people who have been waiting since long. Also the limit of 2000 visas per year from queued quota is limiting chances of others who are in ballot because only 500 places are there in ballot till existing queued pool is not finished.
Your government is doing fast processing of RV2021 and SMC , is your govt considering any option of clearing the parent EOI queued pool in 2023 (only 6000 are left from existing queue ) ?
If not , can a faster processing be considered because current policy is still leading to long wait times and creating another backlog for ballot applicants till queued pool is cleared.. If the existing queue is cleared in 2023 then all 2500 places are available for ballot from later this year and people who have been waiting since 2016 will not have to wait till 2025.
Also, is there any other change being considered to this visa or related ?
Thanks again for opening this visa category and reuniting families with their parents.
Yours faithfully,
A SHARMA

Dear M Wood (MIN),
Dear Ethan
Thanks for your response.
I understand my query contains suggestions as well.
If there is no official document about the similar issue that can be shared , then , surely you can consider this for a ministerial correspondence.
I can understand there can be wait times. It will be great if there is a possibility of an early response from the Hon. Minister or his attention can be drawn as this issue is related to a large number of people who have been waiting since 2016.
Thanks a lot.
Yours sincerely,
A SHARMA
